I didn't intend to use the word "deviant", with all its loaded connotation (which i alluded to). But was just pointing out the word does have broad definition, open to interpretation, and that makes it a perfect tool for people who want to advance their anti-gay agenda.

I dont personally use the word "deviant" for the very reason you mentioned.
