Sam, I don't think you need to be able to read the mind of President
Bush.  There have been plenty of articles that have either suggested
this or outright said it was so.  I have chosen to believe them or at
least give them some credit.

What about the resolutions?  The resolutions stated there would be
consequences for Iraq not complying.  Did it give a time frame?  Did
it give us the authority to make one ourselves?  What happens when the
Arab nations start calling for the resolutions against Israel to be
enforced?  What kind of position will you take then?  I think Bush
threw diplomacy out the window and figured he would do it his way. 
Some think this isn't a bad way of doing things since we're America
and we're the big kid on the block.  I don't subscribe to this line of
thought.
