No, I didn't think Iraq was an imminent threat and neither did Gen Zinni the President's Middle East Advisor at the time who saw all of the intelligence. When asked if it was he said: "No, not at all. It was not an imminent threat. Not even close. Not grave, gathering, imminent, serious, severe, mildly upsetting, none of those." This was because Iraq was led by a secular dictator that was hated by most of the Middle East and had foreign fighter jets flying over his country every day bombing any threats. Neither Iran nor N Korea are contrained by those controls and in Iran's case they have radical Muslims on their side; something Hussein never had. North Korea is run by an insane megalomanic who has little to lose. So yes, I think there are state threats, but I also think that terrorism has multiplied such that al Queda is no longer the largest terrorist threat. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| This list and all House of Fusion resources hosted by CFHosting.com.
