I disagree.

I think US aerial assaults on NK could be incredibly devastating by
themselves. Also, how would a conventional assault suddenly legitimize a
nuclear launch? NK's small cache of ICBM's, assuming they really can be
delivered to the US, would kill Americans....and that would be tragic. But
the result of that launch would be the nuclear destruction of the Republic
of North Korea.

You say they have nothing to lose....I would argue they'd be risking their
very existence. Scary part? Jong just might be crazy enough to consider that
a risk worth taking :/
