hear hear! Yet another day where i'm proud to be an American, and proud to support for the next 4 years whomever wins....what a difference a day makes.
As a side note, lets not forget that Afghanistan has declared a winner in their first democratic election. For all the negatives hurled our way lately....we've got a lot to be proud of too. > I have no idea if the counts of the normal ballots, the provisional ballots and the absentee ballots have been finished. But I >am very impressed with the voters. Long lines out onto the street even before opening hours is an impressive >accomplishment for any democracy nowadays. The enthousiasm people are showing to vote is something that reminds me >of the first elections in South Africa where black people were allowed to vote. It is amazing how, despite all the >procedural fuckups and the legal bullshit, the voters have succeeded in making this election a shining example for >everyone around the world. > > Jochem > > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Protect your mail server with built in anti-virus protection.
