I think #1 won't come about until #3 starts, but #3 seems to depend on
#1 though.  I know a lot of democrats in Texas that didn't even bother
to vote because the state is so one sided.  I voted yesterday and of
my 20 races that I voted on, about 1/2 were uncontested republican
candidates.  Others, were just a republican and a libertarian.  I
don't even consider Texas to be a 2 party state, let alone viable for
3 parties.
