I waited in line for around 1 hour, the people at the polls commented that
it had gone very smoothly, with no problems in my precinct. Everybody seemed
to report long lines, but very smooth elections. Some areas did have a few
issues, but nothing that will require a month of litigation.

I have no idea if the counts of the normal ballots, the provisional ballots
and the absentee ballots have been finished. But I am very impressed with
the voters. Long lines out onto the street even before opening hours is an
impressive accomplishment for any democracy nowadays. The enthousiasm people
are showing to vote is something that reminds me of the first elections in
South Africa where black people were allowed to vote. It is amazing how,
despite all the procedural fuckups and the legal bullshit, the voters have
succeeded in making this election a shining example for everyone around the
world.
