I used to pluck my facial hair but I also used to be baby faced. I didn't have to shave but every two or three days until I was in my early 30's. Now I should shave daily but prefer to go with a Bob Geldof look and only resort to shaving once or twice a week unless my wife has some function for us to attend.
I actually think social functions and hosting events at the house are just our wive's way of getting us to do things we don't want to.
