His position was to destroy Israel. How can I respect that? You are of a
fundamental mindset that there was something positive about the man. He
killed, supported terror, robbed his own people, etc. Yes, he symbolized the
desire for Palestinian independence, but at what cost. His independence was
one of, to quote him directly:
"Jihad, Jihad, Jihad, Jihad"

I reject his position, I reject respect of his position and to try and
'hide' his position under 'broad points' is an exercise in appeasement. 

We should respect Bin Ladin's position because all he wants is America out
of the middle east and then the world to bow to Islam. What's not to
respect? <sarcasm>
