Honestly I see nothing wrong with children recognizing Ronald more than Jesus. Are we up because the Christian church have worse marketing than McDonalds (as an atheist I actually consider both entities business organizations)?
Macdonald's job, as a business, is to provide a service people want. It's the consumer's job to regulate their usage of that service. You can make an argument if they are misleading people, but I don't see how they have. There is a very telling scene in Supersize me where children are shown pictures and asked if they know who the person is, they failed to identify Jesus but all recognised Ronald McDonald immediately. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Special thanks to the CF Community Suite Gold Sponsor - CFHosting.net http://www.cfhosting.net Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:137289 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
