Ah, but sugar in its refined form is a drug. That's what we all use it for, 
like it or not. It has potential side effects like obesity and bacterial 
overgrowth in the body, blood sugar swings, adrenal fatigue, and it is 
addictive - as is caffeine from my experience.
That is interesting though about plaque on the brain, and it would not surprise 
me. Every substance has its problems.
