Yeah, Just because something isn't chemically addictive doesn't mean the addiction isn't there and can't be more severe. I've known people that have gotten violent because they were kept from getting the marijuana they wanted. I personally have known that to occur to anybody else.
Addiction is something that people seem to be pretty sure is genetic in origins. Different people are more susceptible to different types of addictions than others. Sex addictions, people who stop having sex for the pleasure, they just want it for the act. This isn't a chemical dependency, it is a psychological one. And can be very destructive. I never claimed that the person was physically dependant; you came up with that on your own. I said they were addicted, and that in my personal experience this person's addiction was far more severe than anybody I have ever known. It seems to me that as far as the user is concerned there isn't a real difference between chemical and psychological addiction.
