What I was referring to is the fact that the stories in the Bible appear to come from 4 or 5 distinct sources. The J,Y thing is just one example of the literary distinctions, but different versions of the same story are another. Then there is the translational errors that are common with greek translations, etc. All of this literary analysis points to distinct sources - that's not too surprising to me. Beyond all of that though, how do we know that, say, Adam and Eve wasn't God's way of telling a scientifically unsophisticated being about evolution? That is, science needn't have anything to do with the Bible or God. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Special thanks to the CF Community Suite Gold Sponsor - CFHosting.net http://www.cfhosting.net Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:140149 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
