Hmmm the archaeology class I took failed to mention any such theory.
Granted, we covered Clovis points mainly on the way to the Anasazi,
but the class was multidisciplinary and taught by a professot that
liked these sorts of theories, so you'd think he'd mention it if it
were accepted. He certainly made much of the seashells and parrot
feathers that were found at Chaco canyon....

On the other hand, I was taught (in an astronomy class) that life
probably began as a result of a lighning strike so the guy with the
salt water may be on to something.
