I was not questioning your patriotism. I don't agree with everything my country does in my name, either.
There are quite a few differences between this conflict and WWII, true. But I still feel that overall the cause is the same, and the way we handle ourselves should be the same. As to Iraq, why not? The Soviets were in agreement with us dropping one on China in 1963 to put a halt to their nuclear development. -----Original Message----- From: Howie Hamlin [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Friday, November 02, 2001 10:25 AM To: CF-Community Subject: Re: How long? > My sentiments? What do you mean? I'm as patriotic as the next person. I was just wondering why it was taking so long for a military like ours to make headway on a third world country - that's all... You can't compare WWII to what's going on now. WWII was a known enemy (ie. severaly countries) and none were third world countries. > Doubtful that you'll see us tossing a nuke at Iraq... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Your ad could be here.
