I'm planning on putting a wireless bridge in place in the house to allow my
Xbox online. Have a Linksys Wireless G VPN router already, have had
difficulty finding a UK supplier of the Linksys 4 port bridge unit, going to
try using a regular access point to do the job instead, think it should
work.
I believe there are cable to wireless adapters specifically for games
consoles that would do the job for you if you have an access point already,
though my requirements are little more complex than just hooking up the
console itself.

I'll certainly have to check out Fable then, from what I've heard it seems
that most of the fun is to be had from just 'living' in the world. Think
I'll put this up to the top of my list :)

Played Fable, enjoyed the heck out of that game :)

It's an Action RPG, a lot of real time fighting in it. But it's simple, not
too difficult to do combos etc. I don't like and I'm not
good at Reflex fighting games like Tekken or Mortal Kombat etc. and I
managed to hold my own in Fable.

Have you thought of a Wireless solution for getting on Xbox Live? I would
need to run a very long patch cable as well to my Xbox to
get online, so I'm interested to know if anyone has hooked it up wirelessly.

I'd have to agree, Halo2 is great. Only got my Xbox for christmas as well
and had a little difficulty adapting the controls (many
years of PC FPS action as well!) but you do get used to it.

However, game I'm playing most of though is Burnout3, though that might be
because my girlfriend wants to play as well and she's
good at crashing cars
;)

Not going to be on Xbox Live for a while though, don't think I'm going to be
allowed to have a 10m patch cable running down the
stairs! LOL

Paul, if you are not just wanting FPS games, then I suggest checking out
Soul Caliber 2. Fantastic fighting game and you can pick
it up at budget price.

Anyone played Fable? Looks nice but I haven't got it yet.
