> You said that: "these days, the only known source of CO^2 is humans".
ermmm... everything that exhales is a producer od CO^2 > Is that true? I find that impossible to believe...we still have volcanoes > today right? We still have many of the same effectors that existed thousands > of years ago. There are a number of other factors that come into play as well, though... population increase has forced deforestation (Less CO^2 uptake, less O^2 produced) for food and places to live. The fact is there isn't any one cause that can be pointed to and corrected. Additionally, it is true that the Earth goes through climactic changes that can be quite dramatic. Are we having an dramatic effect on our own climate? Yes indeed, I believe that the evidence is indisputable, but does that mean we are destined to wipe ourselves out? Probably not. We do have an uncanny knack for survival :-). And no, I do not believe that in order to survive, we're going to have to resort to wearing furs and living in caves, perhaps just uniformly colored jumpsuits in solar-powered highrises... :-) -- will "If my life weren't funny, it would just be true; and that would just be unacceptable." - Carrie Fisher ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Special thanks to the CF Community Suite Gold Sponsor - CFHosting.net http://www.cfhosting.net Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:141052 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
