At this early stage, ALL aid is welcome, as they are short on everything, from supplies to aid workers to doctors. At some point, additional aid may be declined because all of the necessary agents are in place, and more would only complicate the situation.
But at this point, YES, by rejecting any part of the aid being offered by any country, they are risking the lives of their citizens. Pure and simple. As a side note to Will B., I just read a few minutes ago that the US is going to more than double their aid package from $15 mill to near $35 million, perhaps partly in response to the "stingy" comment you mentioned earlier. > > They did not reject all the aid, they rejected the personnel.
