Sad. Let's forget about what governments around the world are doing and focus
on what we as individuals can do to make a difference for people whose lives
may depend on our generosity at this moment.

To everyone, do you have five dollars, pounds, euros, etc. in your pocket right
now? Give five dollars to the relief effort. Give more if you can, every little
bit will help. See my previous post or Dana's post for a list of organizations
you can contact to donate.

Many of the people in these affected regions have very little, and what little
they had has been utterly destroyed. Hundreds of thousands of children in
India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Indonesia are at grave risk from disease and
starvation in the wake of the flooding. Please do what you can to help.
