I suggest $165 million in humanitarian aid, a mere 1/10 of 1% of our budget for
the war in Iraq so far. Afterall aren't we on friendly terms with most of the
nations involved. These are our friends. Many of which are our Muslim
friends. What better way to demonstrate to the Muslim world that we are not
the enemy. That we are a responsible part of the international community
seeking a peaceful co-existence of everyone.

Initially we (the US government) approved $80 million for the war. We've since
approved at least another 25 billion and Bush and the boys are currently
preparing to ask for another $80 billion in February according to a republican
leader close to the white house (no name was given). "This $80 billion is to
get us through 2005, and will pass because our leaders all support our troops."
Get ready for the 2006 budget coming late next summer to a tax poll near you.
