Hello all!
I want to know if any of you can think of a way, or have done something
like this, with a 'standard' e commerce package.
This company wants to :
* Have a customer go to a website.
* Choose a Location to send a gift to.
* Based on that location,only certain products are displayed. Each
product comes from a certain distributor.
* A Courier logs into the system at a certain time each day, and checks
the orders and the distributors that those products
are from, and calls them and arranges payment and delivery etc.
* Credit card transaction is handled along the way as well.
I'm trying to think if there is any E Commerce package that can do
something like this out of th ebox.
For example..if I set like Category to a country..and then a sub
category to be a type of product..
SO say Barabados-->Music--> Mariah Carey CD $10.00
Barbados-->Flowers-->Red Luv Bouquet
St. Lucia--->Music-->Mariah Carey CD $15.00
Etc. etc.
I'm thinking that might work...but then having each courier only be able
to check hours for a particular place.
See..basically I'm trying to get away from having to develop this from
scratch as I simply don't have the time.
