may just have to break out a statistics text and read a few chapters.
Yes, I do mean distinct, there is only one of each number and it can only be
drawn once. I understood your explanation on what the denominator goes down
{20...19...18...}. What I'm not sure of is why does the numerator go down
{10...9...8...}?
I've tried a couple of quick Google searches, but all I can get is "Texas
Hold'em" stuff. Any good high-school/not math major college type references
would be gladly taken.
