Ok, you got me; it was a broad, vague statement. I guess it might be more correct to ask, HOW STUPID? :-) Burning off a few grand, maybe even a couple of hundred grand is probably not that bad, and who wouldn't do that to some extent if they could? But being so stupid that you actually loose ALL the money, and eventually end up hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt after just a couple of years is really, really, really STUPID. Isn't it? I am actually a bit surprised that this exact scenario happens to a rather high percentage of people who receive large windfalls of money.
