Where I am we can't get DSL at all (there're no more copper lines) but we do have a choice of two cable providers.
We use Comcast and really like it (3mbs down for the standard account is being increased to 4mbs down). We just called and and asked if they could do anything about the price and they cut the bill in half for six months. So, with that, it's actually cheaper than the comparative DSL service for a year. We'll see what happens next year... by then Verizon may have started to offer their Fiver-to-the-Home plans. 30Mb/s of streaming goodness. ;^) Jim Davis > -----Original Message----- > From: G [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Wednesday, February 02, 2005 12:30 PM > To: CF-Community > Subject: Re: New DSL w00t > > I switched, and it was a purely financial decision. 26.99 vs 45.99 each > month....that's quite a difference over the life of the service. > > > > nice. > > sick of 45 bucks for cable. > > may have to switch soon > > > > > > > > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Discover CFTicket - The leading ColdFusion Help Desk and Trouble Ticket application http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=48 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:145941 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
