Speaking of cops being scary deterrents, my husband said that the other night when was doing his overnight cab shift and it was snowing, there were cops just parked with their lights on, sitting in their cars, at some of the scarier intersections. Yep, just sitting there so that idiots would slow down, cause snow isn't enough to make them slow down. ;)
