You try to be nice. You say to your friend, "sure, check your email on my computer." You don't hover over her, because you don't want to be nosy. You forget to explicitly tell her to use FF, because it's obviously the easiest browser to get to and you have to actually go to the programs menu to even find IE.
What do you get? A computer infected with coolwebsearch. *sigh* I have it back to a usable state. But, I know it's still lurking somewhere. (And, I can't figure out which registry key controls the windows update page, but it's one that I reset to google, cause it was going to a nasty site.) Now, I have to get everything backed up for a re-install.
