you don't have to re-install. Unless you really really want to.... I
have had this problem with my kids, many times, so much so that I
setup passwords.

Check out spywareinfo.com. Very helpful people, probably enough info
for a geek like you to get through it by yourself. If not let me know.
There is a link at the site to CWshredder as in cool web. Try that for
a start.
