Once you get it cleaned, if this is XP, I would recommend setting up local user accounts (unless you have your own domain) and make everyone else log in as a very-restricted user. CWS shredder stopped being updated in December, when the guy gave up. It doesn't think I have it on the system (I clearly do). AdAarea and Spybot both find it and say they've cleaned it, but if you just run it again right away, it's still there. This one happens to be next to impossible to remove. Thus, the *sigh* I'm thinking of getting a second harddrive, though. I don't really have a good back up mechanism right now. So, a second hard drive would be a good thing.
