I don't care about MPG - my saloon probably gets worse gas mileage than your SUV. > why are you following SO DAMN CLOSE Rush hour demands such driving. My complaint in not against SUVs - it's against SUVs driving on the freeway during rush hour. You see, during rush hour 95% of the people are going to work and 75% are single drivers in SUVs. They're not hauling wood (he he) or their dog - they're just going to work. When big vehicles mix with small vehicles in bumper to bumper traffic it creates dangerous situations because the small vehicles can't see ahead into traffic. That means if the SUV driver is drinking coffee and doesn't see that he needs to brake, the small vehicle has no warning and - kaboom - chain reaction crashes. I see it every day. What all this means is that you pay higher insurance rates because people commute in SUVs - I have a close friend in insurance and I can assure you this is true. > please don't blame the SUV itself. The SUV is part of the problem because for bad drivers it's the equivalent of beer muscles. Just look at the asshat that drove his Hummer into a river and had to be rescued. He thought because it was a Hummer he could do no wrong. If he'd had a sedan I bet he'd of just stayed home and the taxpayers wouldn't have had to pay to remove his head from his butt. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Find out how CFTicket can increase your company's customer support efficiency by 100% http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=49 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:148349 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
