I agree and it sounds like we agree on the main points, but I would offer that the "just the facts ma'am" approach isn't workable since there are complaints on what a particular outlet has chosen to report the facts on. This is the whole "you're only reporting the negative stuff so you're biased" argument. My main point is this - when the President announced that he was 90% unilaterally invading a foreign country based on a burden proof he felt he'd met, the first question from the Whitehouse press corps was, "Mr. President, tell us how you pray." That is not the press protecting my best interests. Further we have an entire "news" network that we all agree is supportive of the President which, as I've explained, means this network is acting as an agent of the government. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Find out how CFTicket can increase your company's customer support efficiency by 100% http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=49 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:150270 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
