I've worked with troubled kids - I don't care how small they are some of them need to be restrained. The little bastards can REALLY hurt when they get frothed up. ;^) I had a black eye once from an 8 year old girl. That being said we were taught much simpler restraint techniques, but there were more than a few times that I wish I could have used cuffs. Maybe a straight jacket...
