What can I check to see why a laptop seems to be extremely under performing. I just recently, re-formated the hard drive and re-installed. It is only expected to handle e-mail and internet browsing. I've run all my virus and spy ware tools and they find nothing of note. Whenever I check the performance monitor, memory and cpu performance seems to be fine.
But it can take 10 minutes or more to start Outlook Express or a browser.
