I don't think this is the answer you're looking for, but you did say
*any* feedback...

While hardware decisions do have some impact on performance, the
biggest difference you're going to see in performance, speed, and load
will be in the application design and not in the hardware.  A well
written app may run faster on a "slower" machine than a poorly written
app on a brand new super fast machine.

I'm not saying you shouldn't care about hardware, you should.  Just be
sure you don't spend your time worrying about processors when you
might be better off spending it refactoring code.
