For the longest time, my books were in short boxes (I found them easier to manage) and shelfless. When we moved to FL back in Jan we lucked out and found a great 4 BR condo/townhouse (4th bedroom downstairs). I claimed it for my office and finally got around to getting shelves built in the closet. It won't hold all of the current (small) boxes, but will go a long way towards getting things organized (we're still not unpacked) ;)
Have you looked into those metal shelf racks if you don't have a closet that wants to hold your books? That's actually what I had expected to do. The shelves can be had for about $80 at costco (something similar to http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product.aspx?prodid=10006799&whse=&topnav=&cat=&s=1). Should fit behind your daughter's play table? ....and ok, I'll bite...how does one shorten a long box? (no, I don't need the lids with my fancy schmancy shelves) :D On 4/25/05, Jim Davis <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > -----Original Message----- > > From: Charlie Griefer [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > > Sent: Monday, April 25, 2005 11:31 PM > > To: CF-Community > > Subject: Re: google searching...symbols > > > > Well, right now my collection is in short boxes (about 40 of them).
