I'm not arguing that burning crosses is a good thing. I'm arguing that, if I want to burn a cross in my own yard, regardless of my motivation, I should be allowed to. This is not the same as burning it on public property (ie a street) or on someone else's property. I feel the same way about flag burning -- I'd never do it (except as part of a retirement ceremony), but I think that it should be protected under the 1st amendment. >>The NAMBLA example, I'll quickly believe. That is if you knew about it. Are you speaking specifically of my family? Now we're getting into privacy violations and stalker laws. Publishing privite information about my family without a waiver violates other laws, as well. So now we're talking about my individual right to privacy, which is a whole new bag o' worms. --Ben ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Discover CFTicket - The leading ColdFusion Help Desk and Trouble Ticket application http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=48 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:156960 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
