Glad to be here for the venting.

Not to minimize your pain, but remember that every time we have had
men return from war, the country has lived through the pain, and
usually has thrived on their disatisfaction that caused massive social
and economic change.

I am sorry but thankful for the trauma you are living.

I am the son of a Navy vet who was gone for most of my first 5 years,
and gone at least half of every year through my teens. I couldn't be
prouder of my father and his service, and I couldn't be closer to him
today.
