Unfortunately, many people feel that their personal freedom is paramount and
that the liberty of others is not as important.  It's a very selfish point
of view.  If someone else wants to smoke themselves to death, then that's
their right.  If you do not want to be exposed to 2nd hand smoke, then don't
stand near that person.  Just as they would move if they felt that you were
talking too loud.  It's very easy.
