That is one really nice advantage to living here. Housing in the more urban areas is at a premium and rising. I live about ten blocks from the center of Everett and when the new Event Center was built the value of my house took a nice leap. Shortly after Boeing announced their plan to build the 7E7 (787) in Everett housing values went up again.
:-) As the city gentrifies (as a whole) I expect the value will continue to rise. It's a nice position to be in, even if it does mean progressively rising taxes over time. We plan on being in the house until our daughter graduates from highschool (she's 8 now), so I expect there'll be quite the return on my initial investment. Didn't think I'd like being a home-owner this much, but it really can be quite a kick... -- will "If my life weren't funny, it would just be true; and that would just be unacceptable." - Carrie Fisher ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Purchase RoboHelp from House of Fusion, a Macromedia Authorized Affiliate and support the CF community. http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=59 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:160392 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
