Try an American Eskimo. Looks just like a Samoyed, but smaller.

Lady (my eskie) is very obedient, very loving and except for leaving fur all
over during Spring and Summer, is the perfect dog. Plus she must be made of
teflon, because whenever she gets dirty, the dirt just falls off of her!

Actually they have plenty of disadvantages: they are very stubborn, the
grooming is a pain in the ass, they are extremely stubborn, they like to run
off on their own and dont' bother looking back, they are very stubborn, they
need quite a bit of exercise and finally, they are quite stubborn. Did I
mention they are stubborn?

We are getting a brother for that dog and its going to be a less stubborn
breed!! However, of all the northern breeds I believe them to be the best
personalitied to live with people and other dogs. Sibes do other dogs well
and mals do people well but no one gets along llike a sammy.
