Ms. Morris,

While you have a right to your faith, you don't have a right to
arbitrarily define science.  Proof of a theory is derived through a
convergence of evidence from numerous lines of inquiry which point to
a singular conclusion.  Evolution is such a theory.

While every one of its mechanisms is not understood (for example, is
DNA the deterministic mechanism of evolution or do RNA and/ or the
environment play a role?), every line of factual inquiry proves its
validity.

Nineteenth-century English social scientist Herbert Spencer made this
prescient observation: "Those who cavalierly reject the Theory of
Evolution, as not adequately supported by facts, seem quite to forget
that their own theory is supported by no facts at all."
