Anybody that fishes in Florida? "Shark infested" is a bit extreme. I've been fishing just 50 feet or so off shore and saw a shark nearby. I came in quick.
My partner's father recently got brushed by a shark that decided it was interested in the fish he'd caught that were on a stringer attached to his waist. He too dropped the fish and left the water. Plenty of people go out to sandbars and fish. Sharks are part of the ecosystem, but they generally aren't a problem. -Kevin On 6/27/05, Howie Hamlin <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > http://www.cnn.com/2005/US/06/27/shark.attack/ > > My question is this - who fishes off of a sand bar 50 yds. off shore in > shark-infested waters?
