ah. I was told that I could have "bad" things (high in vitamin K in my case) if I was consistent about it, so that they could dose the medecine. I was really really bad about being consistent about it, and very fond of several things that affected INR (caesar salad, ginger chicken, ginger candy, energy drinks, green tea...) and finally just gave them all up for the duration, in the interest of having a life outside the ER. But at least there *was* a duration.... I would not be willing to give them up indefinitely. It's particularly maddening to read how good they are for you when you can't have them :)
But getting back to Jerry, lacking persdonal experience with this all I can say is that from what I can see from friends who do is that compliance alllows a very normal life, whereas trying to tough it out is a mistake.
