Dude, I've got to tell you, you are not alone. I'm going to tell you some of my problems, not because I think I have been through anything like you've been through, but to say this is what I've been through and this is how I'm coping.
-- Crushing debt that eats up most of my paycheck -- Too high rent that keeps going up every year and exceeds one bi-weekly paycheck. -- A wife who has had cancer, other serious medical issues and about 5 or 6 years of having one problem after another. Things are only now getting better for her. -- But we are currently in the midst of one of our worst fights ever and it really threatens the future of our marriage. -- A step-son who has been nothing but grief and difficulty for nearly 10 years. -- Like you, I felt that I didn't have time to work out. I got to were I was more than 60 lbs over weight. Then I found myself in the hospital being treated for an irregular heart beat. That was four months ago. I've been going to the gym two or three times a week since then. I decided I could afford it both in time and money after all. Like somebody else said, you've got to concentrate on the things you can control. The first thing you can control is your own physical fitness. Take care of that first, as I have learned. From that you will have more energy to take care of other things. Don't let your feelings of needing to improve your skills become too much of a weight or you'll never be able to sort out what you need to do from what you feel mislead to do. You need a clarity of mind in this regard. Don't worry about the future of Cold Fusion. You can't control that. Most of all, remember what the Beatles taught us -- the love you give is equal to the love you receive. Remember to love your wife and parents. They need it and you need it.
