My opinion. First, history: In the past, I only owned Nintendo sytems. I've owned them all up to the N64.
I purchased the PS2 a few months back and have been _very_ impressed with it. I'm also happy that I can play some PS1 games that never showed up on Nintendo (like the FF series). I've seen the XBox. Haven't played it. My opinion - while I like the hard drive aspect, the games (except for Halo), don't impress. I'll explain why in a moment. I've played a bit of Gamecube. Again, not too impressed (except for the SW games). So, in general, it's not fair to judge XBox and Gamecube yet, but, this is what I was surprised about. Both systems do NOT seem like they are better than PS2. They both seem to be as good as PS2, but I was really expecting more from systems that took a whole year more to come out. I was not 'impressed' is what I'm saying. That means it all comes down to the games. -RC > -----Original Message----- > From: Nathan Stanford [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Tuesday, December 04, 2001 9:15 AM > To: CF-Community > Subject: Ok Which is better > > > Just for fun now that Philip mentioned the Game Cube... > > Which is better and why.... > > Game Cube > > XBox > > PlayStation 2 > > > > > -----Original Message----- > From: Philip Arnold - ASP [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Tuesday, December 04, 2001 8:08 AM > To: CF-Community > Subject: RE: I have arrived! > > > > He has no coffee pot? > > does he know where the starbucks is? > > Hey, I don't drink tea or coffee, so why would I have a coffee pot?? > > Oh, not to mention that since I don't eat certain things > (health reasons) or > drink alcohol, I seem to have beer and bread in the flat - it > may be for > entertaining... > > More room for my toys - such as DVD, surround sound, DreamCast, PS2, > GameCube, blah blah blah > > Philip Arnold > Director > Certified ColdFusion Developer > ASP Multimedia Limited > T: +44 (0)20 8680 1133 > F: +44 (0)20 8686 7911 > > An ISO9001 registered company. > > ********************************************************************** > This email and any files transmitted with it are confidential and > intended solely for the use of the individual or entity to whom they > are addressed.
