The market is a gamble, but not in the same sense as roulette. An
informed, educated person has better chances of making money in the
market than in roulette. In other words, I think a person is making a
mistake if he throws money at a roulette table (outside of gambling
for fun I mean), but I don't think it is a mistake to invest in the
market.
