Well, lets see what Israel gives to the US. They're the most technical country in the entire world. The tech coming out from them even with all this going on is amazing. Bio tech, nano tech, info tech, you name it. Look at some of the best pieces of software out there and ask if it was made in Israel or in America by an Israeli? Then there's the question of targets. Its in america's best interest to have both a strong ally and a target in the area. The arabs attack Israel and not America (that failed). THen there's the arms sales. America gives a lot of money to Israel (and egypt, etc.) but most of it has to be spent on American products, including arms. Basically, America is funneling money from the government to another country and then back into an arms company, keeping it running. I can go on but it gets really cynical really fast. Israel is very useful to America. There's also the little fact that if Israel was ever invaded again there would be a big war. Guess who has Nukes? Guess what would happen to the oil fields if Israel were to be destroyed? Guess what would happen to the world if Israel were to be destroyed. And nukes are nothing compared to some of the weapons they really have.
