This is the part where I say *go to the fucking doctor*.  :-)

When something hurts, and it shouldn't, it's usually your body telling
you that something is wrong.

Now, if it's a cramping feeling on your left side, around the rib area,
that tends to reach back towards your shoulderblade....  My boss gets
those on the right side, and I get them on either side, whenever we're
overstressed and overcaffinated.  Lack of sleep also helps trigger them.
 However, they don't tend to be triggered by standing up.  In fact, I
find standing up and stretching is just about the only thing that gets
rid of them.
