Do you typically build your own or buy?

So many factors.
The big question is what kind of memory and CPU do you have now?
Provided they're good and you want to stick with them, that will limit
your mobo choices.

Do you game? Do you encode video? Athlon is better at gaming, Intel is
slightly better at video encoding.

Do you have a good video card that you want to keep?

Features: PCI-e (for video card), SATA for drives, USB2 is mandatory,
Firewire/IEEE1394 is nice for video cameras. Athlon 64 is sweet,
better than Intel IMO.
