I never said any of that. My contention was that you made everything into an absolute and that is not the case. You can't say that the US *only* gives money when it serves its own interests because, again, that is not true. Does the US give money to serve its own purposes? Sure, sometimes...but not all the time. And, in that regard, the US is the same as any other sovereign nation that looks out for its own interests from time to time.
There's an old saying - "never look a gift horse in the mouth" If the US sends food to people that are starving then what difference does the intent mean?
