However you want to turn and twist it, the developed richest countries of the world are reneging on their agreement to provide 0.7%.And America is one of the worst with regards to this.
I agree to give 10% of my earnings to the church, and make 100 dollars. The majority of other people only earn 50 dollars and so they give 5 dollars to the church. I decide to give 7 dollars to the church, and claim that my contribution is a lot more than anyone else, so why complain. Am I truly giving more than anyone else with regards to the agreement? Or is it a clever spin on the figures when I say I do? Up to you how you want to rationalise it I suppose. I am not arguing, I am stating a fact that is displayed quite clearly on the graphs of that page. There's nothing to argue. It's a fact. And it is a fact that the richest countries of the world have not stuck to their agreement to provide 0.7%. Since it seems to cloud the issue for you, feel free to remove US from the text and insert your other rich country of choice in there. None of this supports the argument that the richest countries of the world give aid through altruism, or have foreign policy based on altruism. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Find out how CFTicket can increase your company's customer support efficiency by 100% http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=49 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:168902 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
